This is a pre-paid event. Registration will close at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 14th, or when event is full. Cost is $29, which includes a lunch buffet and non-alcoholic beverage.
Parking: There is ample parking in the lot in front of the restaurant, as long as you arrive before the lunch rush. After which, there is plenty of street parking on Olive Ave., S Niagara St, or Alameda St.
Refunds will carry a 10% deduction of the total fee paid to cover processing fees which are assessed both at the time a charge is made and a refund is issued. NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER June 14th, 2018. However, you may transfer a registration to another individual.

HPA Young Entertainment Professionals (YEP) will be teaming up with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) for our third webinar, The Art of Visual Effects: How the ILM Art Department works from vision to post.
The ILM Art Department is a key component to both pre-production and post-production workflows. In this webinar we will illustrate the role of the Art Department in feature film development from concept art through visual effects design and marketing imagery, all working within the director’s vision. Tune in for illustrations of developing stories and ideas as well as the technical and creative problem solving at work in VFX post-production. This webinar will be presented by ILM’s Creative Director David Nakabayashi and Global Senior Department Manager Jennifer Coronado.

Marc Zorn is a well-recognized information security leader in various industries, and has helped to establish standards including ISO 17799, 27000, MPAA Best Practices, HIPAA, PCI, and GIAC. Marc has worked in M&E primarily consulting with studios, post-production houses, VFX, exhibitors, and the MPAA to address protection of multimedia content. Marc is currently heading up productions and content cybersecurity for HBO.
Lena Wasikowski is Vice President of Global Client Servicing for Warner Bros. Technology. In her role, Wasikowski provides strategic oversight of the organization’s content delivery, client operations support, and next generation content servicing initiatives.
Wasikowski leads the team responsible for delivering Warner Bros. Television and Home Entertainment content to global servicing partners and retailers worldwide. Wasikowski and her team ensure client success and accelerated content delivery through the development, implementation and optimization of advanced, efficient operations protocols. Wasikowski also plays a lead role in the creation and establishment of servicing protocols for industry standard specs and next generation technologies, including 4K, Dolby ATMOS, and virtual reality, among other new content experiences.
