Elizabeth is a Producer/Director at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol. A former research biologist, she has worked in wildlife television for 13 years, specialising in marine and polar stories for series such as Frozen Planet, The Great British year and the Wild strand. She was Producer of the opening episode of Planet Earth 2 that focused on wildlife living on remote Islands. This achieved an overnight audience of 12.3 million people – making it the most-watched wildlife documentary for 15 years, and it was the most-watched programme on BBC iPlayer in 2016. Planet Earth 2 has received various awards, including the BAFTAs for best Specialist Factual programme and the Virgin TV Must see Moment.
