Keith Slavin is a founder and CTO of isovideo LLC, leading its development of cinema quality, GPU accelerated video processing technologies for the digital media industry since 2012. These include the industry-first Viarte, a flexible, automated, clusterable server for stream-based/file-based 4K/UHD/HD/SD standards conversion and digital remastering. Viarte includes state-of-the-art automated HDR to SDR tone mapping, SDR to HDR up-conversion, motion-compensated frame rate conversion, deinterlacing, noise reduction, and HEVC/AVC. He previously worked at BBC Engineering Research, and was a principal engineer at Tektronix (awarded two Technical Emmy awards), Micron Technology, and Nvidia. Viarte won a 2013 IABM/NAB Game-Changer Award. Keith holds 50 US patents in digital signal processing, encryption, non-linear correction, computer architecture, compilers, and control systems. He has authored a peer reviewed mathematical paper for Integers-EJCNT, as well as several technical conference papers.
