Kate runs Business Development and Strategy for BT Media & Broadcast, BT’s digital media and broadcast services business, where she focuses on strengthening relationships with key customers and looking for partnership opportunities that will benefit the industry as a whole. Kate joined BT in 2012 as part of the company’s Fast Track Leadership Programme, and came to BT M&B in the spring of 2013, working with the product team to help develop propositions for the news market. She then moved into the sales organization the following year. Previously she was at Reuters working in marketing communications and then journalism. She was one of the team that started Reuters Insider, Reuters’ multimedia platform for financial professionals, where she held a number of roles including news desk editor and and multimedia producer. Kate left Reuters to study for an MBA at Cambridge’s Judge Business School where she specialised in Culture, Arts and Media Management.
